Sri Lanka to meet India in Women's Asia Cup final

Sri Lanka will face India in the final of the Women's Asia Cup cricket after edging out Pakistan by 1 run in the second semi-final on Thursday.

In response to Sri Lanka's modest total of 122, Pakistan's chase started with a bang but they failed to hold their nerve.

They slipped from 102 for 3 with 14 balls remaining, only to be restricted to 121 for 6 after 20 overs.

Earlier, India defeated Thailand by 74 runs in the first semi-final.

Sent in to bat, India made 148 for six and then restricted their opponents to 74 for 9.

The final will be played in Sylhet on Saturday.
