Stokes smashes fastest ever double century by an Englishman

All-rounder Ben Stokes has hit the fastest double century for an English batsman, and the second quickest in test history. Stokes reached 200 off just 163 balls in the 2nd Test against South Africa in Cape Town. He beat the previous English record set by Sir Ian Botham. New Zealand's Nathan Astle holds the current record, scoring a double tonne off 153 balls against England in 2002. Meanwhile, Jonny Bairstow has scored his first Test century. Alistair Cook’s men lead the series 1-0.
