Tottenham shocks Ajax to reach first Champions League final

ADRIAN DENNIS / AFP

Tottenham are through to the Champions League final after they produced a stunning second-half comeback to defeat Ajax on away goals.

A hat-trick from Lucas Moura, including a 96th-minute winner, helped Spurs win the semi-final second leg 3-2 in Amsterdam.

It was heartbreak for the Dutch side, who thought they had one foot in the final after racing to a two-goal lead in the first-half, but Moura turned the match around with three clinical finishes after the break.

Tottenham will face Liverpool in the final in Madrid on June 1.

It will be the second all-English final in the competition after Manchester United beat Chelsea on penalties in Moscow in 2008.
