The UAE beat Thailand 3-1 in Group G of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The Emirati opener was scored by Caio Canedo 14 minutes into the game, with Fabio Lima doubling the score with a header.
Substitute Mohammad Juma added their third goal late into injury time, taking the national team's score to three points.
The match, which took place at Zabeel Stadium, helped the UAE secure 12 points in second place, just two points behind leaders Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Thailand are in third place with nine points.
The UAE will now go up against Indonesia on Friday, June 11, while Thailand are set to meet Malaysia on June 15.
