USA, Sweden through to World Cup knockout stages

The USA have cruised to the last 16 of the Women's World Cup.

They beat Chile 3-0 in Paris thanks to two goals from Carli Lloyd and one from Julie Ertz.

Chile must now beat Thailand if they want to proceed to the knockout stages as one of the four best third-placed sides.

Elsewhere, Sweden thrashed Thailand 5-1 to book their place in the next stage of the tournament.
