War of words escalates between Bale, Zidane

GABRIEL BOUYS / AFP

Things are getting spicy between Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane.

The Real Madrid boss has reacted after Spanish media reported that the Welshman was on the golf course while Real was playing in Audi Cup.

Zidane said he hoped the forward was training on the golf course.

According to the French coach, Bale did not travel to Munich for the pre-season tournament because he was unfit

Earlier this week Bale's proposed move from Real Madrid to China fell through.

According to reports, it was Florentino Perez, Real Madrid's president, who stopped the superstar player from joining Jiangsu Suning.
