Wawrinka advances to Antwerp quarters, Tsonga crashes out

Stan Wawrinka has reached the quarterfinals of the European Open in Antwerp, beating Feliciano Lopez 6-7, 6-4, 7-6.

The fourth-seeded Swiss veteran will next face Gilles Simon, who beat fellow Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-4, 7-5.

Fifth-seeded Guido Pella of Argentina also advanced, beating South Korean Kwon Soon-woo 7-5, 7-5.

Meanwhile, Andy Murray and David Goffin are among the players who will hit the courts on Thursday.
