England captain Wayne Rooney could be heading for a career in wrestling after his performance at the Manchester Arena last night. Rooney theatrically slapped one of the WWE wrestlers after a war of words boiled over during the ‘Raw’ event. 6’7 wrestler Wade Barrett was taunting the footballer in front of fans when the Manchester United player gave Barrett a clip round the ear. The pair had been involved in a Twitter spat and the incident resulted in huge cheers from the crowd.
