Everton secured the three points from their trip to West Brom, despite being 2-0 down at one point. Saido Berahino put the hosts in the lead towards the end of the first half with a clinical finish, and Craig Dawson doubled their advantage with a header on 54 minutes. But Romelu Lukaku, who received a warm welcome on his return to the Hawthorns, where he scored 17 goals when on loan from Chelsea, reduced the arrears just 27 seconds later, nodding in Gerard Deulofeu’s cross. The striker then turned provider, setting up Arouna Kone to fire in the equaliser, before completing the turnaround with six minutes remaining, converting another quality cross from Deulofeu. The win moves the Blues up to fifth in the EPL ahead of this weekend’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool.
