West Indies women win maiden Women's World T20

The West Indies womens’ cricket team have won their maiden Women's World T20, defeating Australia by eight wickets in Kolkata on Sunday. After winning the toss and batting first, Australia’s women managed to reach 148-5 in their 20 overs, thanks to half centuries from Elyse Villani and Alyssa Healy. In reply, the West Indie’s women chased down the target with three balls to spare with openers Hayley Matthews and Stafanie Taylor scoring big to set-up a famous victory.
