UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held bilateral talks on Tuesday with the President of Chad Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno during his work visit to the UAE to partake in the UAE–Chad Trade and Investment Forum.

The UAE relief team has continued its humanitarian operations with its sixth aid shipment to Afghanistan on Tuesday, bringing the total aid provided to around 250.3 tonnes transported through seven planes and 21 trucks.

The UAE has expressed its deepest condolences and solidarity with the Philippines following Typhoon Fung Wong that struck the country and killed at least 18.
