His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has ordered the release of 430 prisoners in Dubai.
The decision is aimed at giving the inmates a chance to return to their families and rebuild their lives.
On Sunday, the UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan had ordered the release of 669 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Last month, the Dubai Land Department said 22 people who have been locked up in the emirate because of rental cases against them would also be released before Eid.
