Oman, Qatar and Maldives are among 22 countries that have been added to Abu Dhabi's quarantine-free 'Green List'.
The change will come into effect on September 1, with the total number of countries under the 'Green List' now at 55.
Vaccinated travellers arriving into Abu Dhabi from these destinations do not need to quarantine, but must take a PCR test on arrival and another on day six.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated citizens, residents and visitors must take a PCR test on arrival and a PCR test on days six and nine.
This new rule comes less than a day after authorities reopened land borders coming into Dubai from Oman.
