Abu Dhabi will host the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025 on April 8-9, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor.
The summit, organised by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), will be held under the theme "Together Towards Building Global Resilience."
The event aims to strengthen global preparedness for crises and disasters, unifying international efforts to tackle large-scale emergencies, and forecasting potential risks in light of growing global threats.
Key discussions will focus on enhancing emergency and crisis management systems and exploring innovative solutions to address current and future challenges.
Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of NCEMA, expressed optimism for the summit, stating, “We look forward to an exceptional edition that will bring the world together, unify international partnerships, and solidify the concept of resilience by anticipating risks and showcasing global best practices.”
He also emphasised the UAE’s strategic leadership in crisis management and its role in fostering international collaboration through innovative models and community engagement.
The summit will feature two major exhibitions: the Education Sector Awareness Exhibition, aimed at educating the public on crisis preparedness, and the Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition, which will showcase the latest innovations and technologies in emergency response. These exhibitions will offer interactive activities, discussions, and workshops designed to raise awareness and promote innovation in the sector.
International experts and speakers will participate in the summit, sharing knowledge and harmonizing approaches to cross-border crisis management.
The event will also highlight the UAE’s unique model of crisis management, showcasing its national capabilities, institutional cohesion, and forward-thinking strategies to address emerging global risks.
By focusing on proactive planning, technology-driven responses, and effective resource allocation, the summit aims to drive development, foster economic prosperity, and enhance global resilience to future crises.
