Newly married UAE citizens, holding an Abu Dhabi family book, and are employed can now apply for interest-free marriage loans up to AED 150,000.
The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (SSA) launched the initiative under the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy and Emirati Family Growth Programme.
To be eligible, the husband must be at least 21 years old, the wife at least 18, and the husband's monthly income must not exceed AED 60,000.
The initiative helps promotes stable families and aims to support couples in building a secure financial foundation.
Applications will be processed via the Medeem Digital Platform, with details on channels and documentation to be announced by SSA, starting from early September 2024.
