A new summer work schedule has been approved for Ajman government employees.
The changes include a fully remote work policy on Fridays, from July 1 to August 22, along with a reduction in daily working hours to seven, from Monday to Thursday (7:30 AM to 2:30 PM).
These adjustments will be applied while ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of essential services through flexible internal arrangements across government entities.
The new policy was approved during a meeting of the Ajman Executive Council, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
The move is part of the emirate’s efforts to promote work-life balance and falls under the broader "Year of Community" initiatives.
Officials say the changes aim to create a healthier, more flexible and productive work environment—supporting employee well-being and strengthening social cohesion both at home and in the workplace.
