Ajman Police have impounded an unspecified number of vehicles and arrested several drivers for reckless driving during the 53rd Eid al-Etihad celebrations.
The drivers reportedly violated traffic laws on Ajman Beach Street, where they detained.
Some of the violations included spray painting vehicles and exiting the roof and windows of the vehicle while it was in motion, according to Ajman Police.

Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid Bin Hindi, said urged the drivers of vehicles and those celebrating on this occasion to comply with the rules and conditions and restriction of traffic laws, warning that Ajman police will be on the lookout for those who violate the rules and traffic laws
This comes after authorities warned against hazardous activities that may endanger the safety of others during the annual celebratory occasion.
