Ajman is stepping up road safety with a new smart initiative.
The Ajman Transport Authority has begun installing smart, dynamic speed limiter devices in taxis and limousines across the emirate.
The system is designed to automatically adjust vehicle speeds based on location, helping reduce risky driving and improve passenger safety.
It regulates vehicle speeds in real time by syncing with GPS and area-specific speed limits.
Ajman is the first in the country to adopt this advanced technology, which also feeds live data to a central command system and updates constantly through a smart mapping platform.
The rollout is being carried out in phases, with ongoing monitoring to ensure long-term success and safety on Ajman’s roads.
