The three-day Arab Media Summit has officially opened in Dubai. It will see the participation of around 8,000 media professionals from the UAE and across the region.
Running until May 28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the summit kicked off with sessions of the Youth Media Forum and the Ibda’a – Arab Youth Media award ceremony.
With over 300 speakers, 175 sessions, and 35 workshops, the Summit serves as a dynamic space for dialogue, collaboration, and in-depth analysis of opportunities and challenges in a fast-evolving media landscape.
It will bring together ministers, editors-in-chief, media organisation heads, influencers, content creators, media tech experts, and academics to explore the future of media development in the Arab world.
“Today’s world demands a new dialogue. The rapid integration of artificial intelligence and immersive technologies requires the development of new strategies that are ambitious, youth-driven, and future-focused. Our aim is to raise Arab media’s role in growth and development not just regionally, but also globally," said Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Dubai Press Club, and Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the Arab Media Summit.
