Bookings open for Etihad Rail's Dubai-Abu Dhabi route ahead of launch

Etihad Rail has opened ticket bookings from Dubai's Al Yalayis station to Abu Dhabi's Mohamed Bin Zayed City station, ahead of the official launch on September 30.

It is available on Etihad Rail’s website and mobile app, with two categories - 'Comfort' priced at AED 39 and 'Premium' at AED 109 and AED 129.

Each 'Comfort' ticket offers free wifi and USB charging portals, with seat selection, and food and beverages available for an extra fee. 'Premium' tickets offer reclining seats with extra legroom, along with free food and snacks. 

Travellers also have the option to upgrade 'Comfort' for more options, with 'Value' priced at AED 20 and 'Flex' at AED 60. Premium tickets also get the same 'Value' offer, with 'Flex' at AED 90. 

Train timings

Two trains leave for Abu Dhabi in the morning, with the first at 6:14 am and the second at 7:14 am. There are two trains scheduled for the afternoon - one at 01:14 pm and the other at 5:14 pm. The last train to leave from Dubai will be 6:14 pm.

For the return journey to Dubai, there are two trains scheduled for the morning - one at 6.43 am and another an hour later. In the afternoon, there are three trains - one at 12:43 pm, another at 4:43 pm and the last one at 5:43 pm.
