The brother of a young Indian woman killed in a bus crash in Dubai around two weeks ago, says the reality is yet to sink in.
Twenty-two-year-old Roshni Moolchandani was one of 17 people who died when the vehicle travelling from Muscat crashed into a height barrier on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road near Rashidiya metro station.
The Dubai resident, who worked at a hotel in the emirate was also a budding model.
Her brother Darpan, paid this tribute while speaking to ARN News, from India.
Roshni had gone to Oman to spend Eid holidays with some of her friends and her cousin’s husband Vikram Thakur, who also died in the accident.
Among the 12 Indian victims of the crash, Roshni was the only one whose remains were not flown back home.
Her last rites were held in Dubai, with her parents and siblings flying in from India to have her cremated.
Darpan says the family is still coming to terms with the loss.
