Coding and other digital technologies will be a part of the curriculum in schools in the UAE. That’s according to GEMS Education who announced they will be opening a new school in September 2016. The GEMS Nations Academy in Al Barsha will be home to around 1,500 students and feature the latest advances in new technologies as part if its teachings. Tony Little, Chief Academic Officer, for GEMS Education says they are preparing students for skills that are needed in the 21st century.
