Passengers flying into the UAE can now get their COVID-19 tests done at locally approved centres.
That's if their countries don't have UAE-approved laboratories.
"If the UAE Government has specified a designated laboratory in your country of origin, then you must get your certificate from that lab. If it is not specified, please use an accredited lab in your country of departure," Emirates said on their website.
Passengers flying with Emirates, Etihad Airways and Air India Express can also access an updated list of approved clinics online.
Earlier, the UAE had announced all passengers must carry a PCR-negative test result from a Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA) approved laboratory in partnership with the Pure Health network of laboratories.
The PCR tests must have a 96-hour validity before passengers board the flight.
