The UAE has confirmed 2,084 new cases of COVID-19 from 244,422 tests.
Another 2,202 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 445,355.
Meanwhile, five more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,497.
A total of 461,444 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 14,592 are currently active.
