A move permit is no longer required for citizens and residents to leave Abu Dhabi but they will need one to enter the emirate.
That’s according to new rules announced by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for the COVID-19 Pandemic.
A permit is also mandatory for those looking to travel between the regions of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The latest changes are not applicable for workers, as they are still prohibited from travelling into or out of Abu Dhabi and between its regions.
