Establishments can now return to their normal timings after the UAE announced the successful completion of the National Disinfection Programme.
According to Dubai Economy (DED), economic sectors can go back to their usual operating hours as long as they adhere to the safety measures set by the country.
These include placing social-distancing stickers on shop floors, ensuring that people are wearing masks and gloves, providing customers with hand sanitizers and carrying out regular temperature checks.
The DED is urging consumers to resort to contactless payment methods for safety reasons.
They also clarified that they will continue carrying out inspections to ensure that all commercial establishments and malls are following all precautionary protocols.
Residents can report any non-compliance to the COVID-19 safety guidelines via the Dubai Consumer App, by calling 600545555 or on the consumerrights.ae website.
