Dubai leads the way when it comes to serviced apartments in the GCC. That’s according to the “MEA Serviced Apartment Markets and Guest Experience Index” report by Colliers. The Emirate comes in at number one when it comes to number of properties as there are 232 establishments with an average of 126 keys. Filippo Sona, Head of Hotels for Colliers International in the Mena region, says there is always room for more as around 79% of short term furnished apartments in Dubai are occupied which is very good when compared to the rest of the world.

Riyadh follows Dubai with 120 properties but the city has a lower average of serviced apartments at 43 keys per establishment.
