Six establishments have been shut down by Dubai Municipality during the latest round of inspections that covered 2,386 outlets.
Two shisha cafes were closed in the Burj Khalifa area due to overcrowding while a fitness centre in Al Barsha South was pulled up for a similar offence.
Closure orders were also issued to two laundries in Al Jaffiliya and Al Daghaya for violating health and hygiene measures, while a massage centre was closed in Muteena for not complying with the face-mask rule.
Seven establishments were fined and warnings were handed to 37 others during the checks that were carried out on Monday.
