A traveller, who lost AED 50,000 while passing through Dubai International Airport, managed to retrieve the money within an hour, thanks to Dubai Police.
It came as a massive surprise for the Asian passenger as he was unaware of his loss and hadn’t filed a complaint.
He got the money back just before boarding the plane.
Teams from the airport security department and foot patrol unit worked together to identify the owner within record time.
The passenger thanked Dubai Police for their professionalism and vigilance, and for putting a smile on his face.
