Eid Al Fitr holidays have been announced for private sector workers in the UAE.
According to the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), employees working for private sector will be off from the 29th day of Ramadan (Thursday, April 20) until Shawwal 3.
This means that the holidays will run until Sunday, April 23, or Monday, April 24, depending on when the crescent moon is sighted.
If the holy month lasts for 29 days, Shawwal 3 will fall on Sunday, April 23, and on Monday, April 24, if it is 30 days.
