Emergency services respond to fire at Abu Dhabi Carpet Souq

A fire that broke out at the Carpet Souq near Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi on Friday morning has been contained.

In a post on social media, Abu Dhabi Police said Civil Defence crews have "dealt with the fire".

The authority also emphasised the importance of only obtaining information from official sources.

Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams have dealt with a fire that broke out Friday morning at the Carpet Souk near Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi. The public is advised to obtain information from official sources only.
