It’s now a lot easier for citizens of the UAE and Paraguay to travel between the two countries.

A visa waiver agreement has come into effect, covering all types of passport holders.

It’s applicable for a stay of up to 90 days.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York last year.

According to the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the agreement is expected to boost tourism, trade and investment links between the nations.
