Teams from Dubai Civil Defence have managed to control a blaze that broke out at a parking lot in Al Qusais industrial 1 area.
Emergency services were pressed into action after the control room received an alert at 10:07 am on Friday.
Firefighters from Al Qusais and Rashidiya fire stations controlled the blaze within 21 minutes of arriving at the site.
Officials added that cooling operations are currently underway after it started at 12:59 pm.
A number of cars were damaged in the incident but no injuries were reported.
The site has been transferred to competent authorities for further investigations.
