The Philippines’ largest carrier, Cebu Pacific, has announced the launch of Dubai-Manila flights with a base fare of AED 2.
The offer coincides with the Philippines' 124th Independence Day celebrations.
Passengers can book flights for as low as AED 2 from June 10 to 12, for travel dates between February 1, 2023, and May 31, 2023.
Cebu Pacific’s campaign called 'Big ComeBakasyon' combines the words "Come Back" and "Bakasyon" (the Filipino term for vacation).
It comes at a time when the Philippines and the UAE have removed quarantine measures and eased restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers.
Starting July 3, the airline will also ramp up flights from Dubai to Manila with twice-daily services every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, bringing its total to 10 times a week.
