Residents of Sharjah’s Al Nahda will be screened for COVID-19 for free.

The tests will be carried out from today as part of the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s 10-day COVID-19 screening campaign.

Residents were alerted via text messages to head to the mobile screening centre set up in Al Nahda Park between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm with their Emirates IDs.

The campaign, which is done in coordination with the Sharjah Police, will screen those aged 18 and above.

It is part of efforts to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus by early detection and treatment.
