Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE president, has called Iran the "source of danger and threat to regional security and stability" a day after the country faced multiple attacks.
In a post on social media platform X, he said the attacks "affirm that Iran is the aggressor, responsible for exacerbating the crisis in the Arabian Gulf".
Dr Gargash also thanked the Gulf, Arab and international communities for standing in solidarity with the UAE.
It reflects "the international community's commitment to a system based on values and responsibility, one that rejects rogue actions and isolates their perpetrators" he added.
