Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE president, has dismissed rumours that the UAE is cancelling labour residencies and providing financial facilities to Iran, stating they are "false information and part of desperate media campaigns".
In a post on social media platform X, Gargash noted that media platforms have been targeting the UAE at a time when it continues to focus on addressing regional developments and preparing for its "post-phase".
He added that the UAE's response to such claims is through "work and tangible achievements on the ground".
