Visa on arrival is making Georgia a favourite holiday destination for UAE residents says a new report. This is according to regional online travel website holidayme.com who say the latest stats from Georgian National Tourism reveal a 10% increase in visitors in August 2015 when compared to the same period in 2014. The site says data also suggests that there has been a 300% increase in travel searches specifically for the country nestled at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. The travel site believes that because of the easy visa norms and the fact that it’s just a 3.5 hour flight from the UAE, a lot of people are set to book for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays.
