His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on Monday, on his official visit to the country.
His Majesty praised the deep-rooted Bahrain-UAE relations, which share common values and visions.
Sheikh Abdullah hailed the progress and development of Bahrain and expressed his best wishes for the prosperity of the Bahraini people.
He also met with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, who highlighted aspects of cooperation between the two countries always receive the care and attention of the King, and the UAE President, with a continued commitment to developing relations.
Prince Salman welcomed the visit of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of the 12th session of the UAE-Bahrain Joint Higher Committee, and conveyed his greetings to the UAE leaders, along with his wishes for the UAE and its people.
