H.H. Sheikh Ahmed hails national media as crucial pillar of development

Dubai hosted the 10th Emirati Media Forum on Tuesday at the Museum of the Future, bringing together leading figures from the UAE media sector.

The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, along with Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture.

Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the forum highlighted the vital role of national media in shaping public awareness and supporting the UAE’s development goals.

Sheikh Ahmed praised the sector’s professionalism and stressed the importance of empowering youth to lead digital transformation and innovation in media.

He also reaffirmed the Dubai Media Council’s commitment to preparing future-ready talent and strengthening the UAE’s global media competitiveness.

During the event, prominent media organisations were honoured for their role in advancing the national media message.
