Dubai's Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has praised Jamal Abdul Rahman from Dubai Community Development Authority for going beyond his call of duty to help a wheelchair-bound customer.

Posting on his official social media channels, Sheikh Hamdan, who also holds the position of Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, expressed happiness at Jamal's exceptional customer service.

The 37-second video clip shows the senior government official kneeling down and chatting with the senior citizen at a centre of the Dubai Community Development Authority.

Jamal's actions reflect the UAE's core cultural values of humility, kindness and eagerness to help, highlighted Sheikh Hamdan, adding how the government must work to serve its people.

He also thanked Hessa Bu Hamid for setting up a team that serves Dubai's people.

"In Dubai, caring for people, preserving their dignity, and achieving their happiness will remain the highest thing we strive for," Sheikh Hamdan wrote.

In June this year, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also posted a video from a secret shopper report to monitor the quality of services offered to citizens and residents.
