His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, officially opened the 46th edition of Big 5 Global at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday.
The event, running until November 27, brings together over 85,000 professionals and more than 2,800 exhibitors showcasing over 60,000 innovative products in construction, urban development, geospatial management and facilities management.
Sheikh Mansoor highlighted the vital role of the construction sector in driving sustainable growth, creating jobs and building future-ready urban systems.
He toured the exhibition, visiting international pavilions including Spain and Italy, as well as the Dubai Municipality pavilion, where he was briefed on green building initiatives, energy efficiency projects and solutions to support Dubai’s advanced infrastructure plans.
Big 5 Global reflects the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development, advanced engineering and maintaining Dubai’s position as a leading hub for the construction industry.
