His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the launch of a national programme that aims to strengthen supply chain resilience in the country and maintain its stability.
The programme will identify vital commodities for the UAE and ensure their continued availability, alongside establishing strategic partnerships with partners capable of large-scale production and supply.
It also aims to assess vulnerabilities within current supply sources, implement measures to enhance the resilience of national supplies, and carry out agreements that will ensure its continuity.
The approved programme will further support national production initiatives within the UAE for vital goods, alongside exploring investment opportunities related to the production of these essential commodities.
