In a decree, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has appointed Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council.
Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer will step in as the Vice Chairman of the Board.
Other members of the Board will include Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; Hala Badri, Director-General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; and Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council.
Sami Ahmed Al Qamzi, Mohammed Ali Al Kamali, Mariam Ahmad Al Hammadi and Moaza Saeed Al Marri will also be part of the Board.
All members will serve for a "renewable period of three years".
