The UAE will dispatch urgent humanitarian aid to support Sudanese citizens displaced by the recent conflict in their country.
This comes following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The aid will be delivered in the form of food and ration parcels through the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) to the most affected groups.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the depth of the cultural and historical ties between the UAE and Sudan, and affirmed that the Emirates is always keen to support brotherly countries.
