The UAE weather bureau has forecast heavy rain, thunder and lightning, and strong winds for a few days, starting the weekend.
In a post on social media platform X, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said it be cloudy with a chance of rain of varying intensities from Friday to Sunday.
Heavy rain, and thunder and lightning have been forecast from Sunday until Tuesday evening.
Motorists have been urged to drive with caution and to be aware of the changing weather conditions as the strong winds could cause dust and sand storms.
