Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has warned motorists of delays on a key road on Sunday due to the Asia Cup cricket match between India and Pakistan.
In a series of tweets, the RTA said Hessa Street near Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road intersection will be badly impacted from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Residents have been "advised to use Umm Suqeim Street" instead, while those living in Dubai Sports City have been tipped to take Al Fay Road as an alternative route.
"Please plan your journeys early," the authority stressed.
Expected delay on Hessa Street near Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road intersection on Sunday 4 September, from 3 PM to 11 PM, coinciding with the events of the Asia Cup cricket tournament in #Dubai Sports City.
