Indonesian president Joko Widodo has arrived in the UAE for a two-day state visit.
The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visiting delegation upon their arrival at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.
As the aircraft carrying Widodo entered the country's airspace, it was met by several UAE Airforce jets.
Widodo's visit marks a significant milestone in enhancing the comprehensive relations between the UAE and Indonesia.
During the visit, both countries are expected to strengthen their partnership, particularly in nuclear energy, investment, financial sector and other vital areas.
