UAE airlines have extended suspension of flights to several destinations in the region as tensions between Israel and Iran escalate.
In a travel update on its official website, Emirates Airline said its operations to Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran have been impacted.
Flights between Dubai and Jordan (Amman) and Lebanon (Beirut) will be suspended until June 22, while services to and from Tehran (Iran) and Baghdad and Basra (Iraq), will be cancelled until June 30.
Those "connecting through Dubai with final destinations in Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon" and those with "onwards flydubai connections to suspended destinations will not be accepted for travel... until further notice".
"We continue to closely monitor the developments," the Dubai carrier added.
In an update, Etihad Airways spokesperson said it "continued to experience disruption to several services due to airspace closures and the ongoing regional situation".
Its services to Israel's Tel Aviv will be cancelled until June 16, and operations to Amman and Beirut will resume with a revised schedule on June 15.
"Etihad continues to re-route several flights in response to restricted airspace in parts of the Middle East," the Abu Dhabi carrier added.
Transit passengers will not be accepted until further notice. "This remains a developing situation, and some disruption and delays may be expected in the coming days," the airline added.
In a statement sent to ARN News, flydubai confirmed its services to Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria have been cancelled until June 16.
"We have reinstated some flights across the network to destinations that were impacted, and these flights are subject to rerouting to avoid the affected airspace," the airline's spokesperson added.
Passengers have been advised to check for all travel updates and rebooking options on their airline's official channels.
