The road to Jebel Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah has been closed as a precaution due to unstable weather conditions.
Making the announcement on their official social media handle, Ras Al Khaimah Police advised residents to be extra cautious, avoid valleys and to cooperate with the authorities.
Jebel Jais recorded the lowest temperature in the country on Thursday morning, the National Centre of Meterology said on Twitter.
